How To Remove Pimples On Chin?

Pimples, on any part of the face, are really nagging. No one likes a pimple on one’s face because it looks ugly. A person loses his or her confidence when having an irritable pimple or acne on the skin. Similarly, a pimples on chin are unwanted to all of us. Nevertheless, such an irritation is quite common so that you might have to experience it a number of times. Although many commercial products available in the market promise to heal the problem from its root, they have least effect on pimples on the chin. Improper application of these anti-acne products might darken your skin while leaving it dull and discoloured.

How do pimples on chin take shape?

Chin acne is normal like other forms of acne. The difference, however, lies in their shape. Chin pimples are generally larger than others. Most chin pimples are painful and filled with pus. Surplus secretion from the oil glands is the most common cause of a pimple on the chin. The pimples on the chin pop up when this excess sebum reacts with bacteria on the skin. However, a person with dry skin may also face a similar problem. The probability of such a skin eruption increases when you are not careful enough to maintain an oil-free and clear skin.

    Natural preventives for chin pimples:

Pimples are a common but nagging skin problem. You can hardly prevent the spate of a pimple attack when you are not conscious enough. No wonder, a person with oily skin needs to be more careful in order to prevent acne and pimples from popping up. It is always better to prevent such skin infections rather than heal them. A single pimple on chin may give birth to a number of others, if the infection spreads with time. Therefore, take care of your skin from the beginning.

Here are some natural preventives for chin acne:

    • Wash your face twice a day with a mild, soap-free face wash. Do not leave your skin excessively dry, as it would lead to over-secretion of sebum. A mild face-wash is less alkaline. It would help to maintain the natural moisture of the skin.
    • No matter how exhausted you are, do not ever forget to remove makeup before going to sleep every day. Apply a water-based moisturizer after cleansing your face.
    • Avoid extra oily foods. Egg yolk is a prime cause behind the popping up of pimples. Avoid having more than three egg yolks a week. Add a lot of antioxidants, green vegetables, fresh fruits and plenty of water into your regular diet chart.
    • Wash your mouth and the chin area generously after eating food. Wipe the area with an astringent-wet tissue frequently when you are out in the sun and dust.
    • Do use a high SPF sunblock lotion every time you step out in the sun. Apply the sunscreen at least half an hour before getting out.

How to get rid of pimples on the chin?

    • Ice is a great healer for pimples on the chin. It radically improves blood circulation around the chin area. The pores of the skin freeze due to contact with ice. It helps to remove excess oils and dirt from the skin. Wrap the ice in a piece of cloth and apply the same over the affected area.
    • Make a pack of lemon and honey. Apply this pack every day and leave it for fifteen minutes.
    • Toothpaste is a common method to get rid of chin pimples. Apply a pinch of toothpaste on the pimple. Keep the paste for twenty minutes and wash off with icy cold water.
    • A pack of sandalwood and fullers’ earth is also helpful in removing pimples from the chin area.
