The Goodness of Hot Oils for Hair

What’s your hair? Long, shiny and smooth or dull, frizzy and unmanageable? Or is it somewhere in between? Is your hair tired from over exposure and being pulled into neat style? Is it getting dry and unmanageable or has it reached that stage where it has gotten extremely oily? Well what is cannot be changed. Unfortunately!
But what worries you the most? Weather conditions, pollution? Wait! Can it be the extensive usage of heated rollers, dryer and hair irons? The banes of hair styling! Is there no solution to be found?

On this note I take the liberty to ask to stop looking for new solutions. Go back to the tried and tested! Hair Oils. Yes, we are back to benefits of hot oil for hair!

Hot oil treatment for hair at home:
Hot oil treatment involves the use of special concoctions from different kinds of essential oils that you heat and apply to your scalp. The reason behind it you ask? Each ingredient is a solution to a specific issue that a person faces.

    How is it done?

    Step 1:

    Natural hair oils

Heat up the oil or the mixture of oils with a few drops of essential oils. Don’t put it to the test of fire though! Place the mixture in hot water and heat to your tolerance.

    Step 2:

Comb hair to keep it tangle free

While that magic potion is coming together, make sure that you comb hair to keep it tangle free and breakage proof.

    Step 3:

    Massaging scalp
Take small amount of oil on your fingertips and massage your scalp gently in small circular motions.
After massaging your scalp, take small strands of hair and apply oil along the full length of your hair.
For better results, steam your hair. And you don’t need a parlour for that,  just use a hot towel for 20 – 25 mins. Wash off the oil as per convenience.
